The Wines of Georgia: Three Expressions from an Ancient Wine Heartland
ZOOM on June 19, 2026 at 7 pm Central Time

Join us to explore three distinct wines from Kakheti — the cradle of Georgian winemaking, where vines have been cultivated for over 8,000 years and the buried clay qvevri remains as relevant today as it was in antiquity.
We open with a 100% Rkatsiteli white unoaked and fresh, offering bright quince, green apple, and crisp citrus — a pure expression of a grape that is Kakheti’s very soul. Next, a semi sweet 100% Kisi white, a variety that was almost extinct in 2000 but has seen a revival to produce high quality wine. This rare and aromatic Kakhetian grape reveals its more indulgent side — honeyed stone fruit, rose petal, and a luscious, lingering sweetness perfectly balanced by fresh acidity. We close with a, 100% Saperavi— Georgia’s celebrated red grape and one of the world’s great teinturier varieties, delivering a wine of deep color, dark plum, blackberry, and bold, structured spice.
Three wines. One region. Eight millennia of tradition.
