Join Bonne Cuvée  for our monthly  virtual wine tasting highlighting a different country, region or varietal. All levels are welcomed for this educational and interactive workshop!

Join us for an exclusive wine journey of a tasting of three of California’s affordable Pinot Noirs!   We will explore the diverse terroirs of the Golden State, from the sun-drenched hills of Monterrey to the cool coastal breezes of the Sonoma Coast.

While Pinot Noir has its ancestral home in France (Burgundy), California winemakers have excelled in capturing the sublime flavors and captivating aromas of this beloved grape variety. This tasting promises to expand your appreciation for Pinot Noir and the winemakers who are kept on their toes by what they call the trickiest grape to grow and to make wine.  Their final products, that we will taste, show that their careful and concerted efforts have paid off to create Pinots of affordable quality and excellence.

In this seminar you will:

  • Explore the geography of California Wine Regions
  • Learn about the nuances of viticulture and winemaking of Pinot Noir
  • Taste wines from three main subregions
  • Try to identify the major differences in aroma and flavor
  • Understand your own taste profile preference
  • Better understand and use wine vocabulary

This session is recommended for ANYONE who wants to learn how to improve your wine tasting skills!
