Bonne Cuvee’s Loire Valley Wine Tour

April 19 to 25, 2026

Welcome to Tours, the Gateway to the Loire Valley’s Wine Heritage

Just an hour away from Paris by train, Tours is a vibrant and historic city that serves as an ideal base for wine lovers exploring one of France’s most diverse and celebrated wine regions. Often referred to as the Garden of France, the area around Tours is not only lush and scenic but also deeply rooted in viticulture, with centuries-old vineyards, châteaux, and long-established wine traditions.

The city of Tours combines a lively urban energy with old-world charm. Its beautifully preserved medieval quarter, Le Vieux Tours, is full of half-timbered houses, cobblestone streets, and bustling squares like Place Plumereau, known for its cafés and wine bars. You might want to Explore the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Tours where you will find pieces from the Middle Ages to the 20th century. See works by Rubens, Rembrandt, and Monet, plus a magnificent cedar tree and a surprising stuffed elephant (Fritz the circus elephant) in the garden. Or you can see the magnificent Gothic Cathedral of Saint Gatien, stroll through Les Halles de Tours (Covered Market) and sample magnificent fresh produce, charcuterie, pastries of raw oysters. If you are a literary fan, you can follow the steps of Balzac, the famous French writer born in this city. And of course, there are the many nearby Châteaux!

Our tours involve luxury transportation, gourmet meals, select wine tastings, and cultural visits all in a very comfortable and relaxed setting. Groups are limited in size to keep our wine explorations personal and to allow access to special vineyards.
